Terms of Use

Effective August 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of www.contrologytherapy.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Contrology Therapy is a Classical Pilates teacher training program founded and taught by Michelle N. Leach in Atlanta, Georgia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Contrology Therapy, and "you" means the person using the site.

2. What this site is

This site describes the Contrology Therapy apprenticeship and provides a way to apply for it. The information here is offered in good faith and kept current, but program details, dates, curriculum, cohort size and pricing may change. Nothing on this site is a contract or an offer to enter one.

3. Applying to the apprenticeship

Submitting the application form does not enroll you and does not reserve a place. It begins a process:

  1. You submit an application.
  2. If the cohort looks like a fit, Michelle contacts you to arrange a conversation.
  3. Accepted applicants complete ten private sessions before the cohort begins.
  4. A seat is held only once we confirm it to you in writing.

We decide who is accepted. We may decline an application, or hold it for a future cohort, at our discretion. Applying creates no obligation on either side.

4. Fees and enrollment

The program fee described on this site is the fee for the complete apprenticeship as currently offered, and it is provided for information. The binding terms of your enrollment, including the fee, payment schedule, cancellation and refund terms, and attendance expectations, are set out in a separate enrollment agreement you receive after acceptance. If anything on this site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement governs.

No payment is taken through this site.

5. Physical activity and health

Pilates is physical work. The apprenticeship involves sustained practice on apparatus, teaching, and hands-on instruction.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and we are not medical providers. Before beginning any physical training program, consult a qualified healthcare professional, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing any health condition. You are responsible for working within your own limits and for telling us about anything that affects your ability to participate safely.

Participation in the apprenticeship is subject to the health disclosures and waivers in your enrollment agreement.

6. Results

We describe what the apprenticeship teaches, and we share what apprentices have said about it. We do not promise any particular outcome. Completing the full program, including the written and practical examinations, results in a Fully Comprehensive Classical Certification from Contrology Therapy. It does not guarantee employment, income, client volume, or any specific professional result.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including its text, photography, video, page design, the Contrology Therapy name and logo, and the structure and materials of the apprenticeship curriculum, belongs to Contrology Therapy or is used with permission.

You may read, print and share pages of this site for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, adapt, or use our content or curriculum materials to build or promote a competing training program without our written permission.

The Classical Pilates method itself is the work of Joseph Pilates and belongs to the tradition. We claim no ownership of the method, only of our own materials and our presentation of it.

8. Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

  • Submit false information, or apply on someone else's behalf without their knowledge
  • Use automated tools to submit the form or to scrape the site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or interfere with its operation
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

We may refuse service, remove content, or block access to anyone who does.

9. Links to other sites

This site may link to sites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contrology Therapy, Michelle N. Leach, and anyone acting on their behalf will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from your use of the site is limited to one hundred dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Contrology Therapy and Michelle N. Leach from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through this site, and forms part of these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
