Privacy Policy
Effective August 21, 2026
Contrology Therapy operates www.contrologytherapy.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why we collect it, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. The short version
We collect two things: what you type into the application form, and basic analytics about how people use the site. We use your application to decide whether the apprenticeship is a fit and to have a conversation with you about it. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising on this site, and we do not share your application with anyone outside Contrology Therapy except the service providers that keep the site running.
2. Information you give us
The application form on our Apply page asks for:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Where you are based
- Your Pilates background
- Why you are drawn to the Classical method, and why now
- What you intend to do after the cohort
- How you heard about Contrology Therapy
- Anything else you want us to know (optional)
You may also email us directly, in which case we receive whatever you choose to put in your message.
We ask for this because acceptance into the apprenticeship begins with an application and a conversation. We need enough context to judge whether the program fits you and whether the timing is right for both of us.
3. Information collected automatically
- When you visit the site, we and our service providers automatically receive:
- Your IP address and approximate location, usually at city level
- Your browser type, device type, and operating system
- Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and which site or search brought you here
- The date and time of your visit
This comes from Google Analytics and from standard web server logs kept by our website platform. We use it to understand which pages are useful and how people find us. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. They fall into two groups.
Necessary cookies keep the site working: maintaining your session, keeping forms functional, and supporting security checks.
Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics and record anonymous usage patterns as described above.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, including the application form, from working properly.
5. Bot protection by Google reCAPTCHA
The application form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which distinguishes real applicants from automated submissions. To do this, Google collects hardware and software information, including device and application data, your IP address, and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Google for analysis. That use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and
Terms of Service.
We use reCAPTCHA solely to keep spam and automated submissions out of the application form.
6. How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Review your application and decide whether to invite you to a conversation
- Contact you about your application, a discovery call, or a future cohort
- Hold your application for a later cohort if you ask us to, or if the current cohort is full
- Send you program information you have asked for
- Understand how the site is used and improve it
- Keep the site secure and functioning
- Meet our legal and record keeping obligations
We do not use your application to send marketing unrelated to the apprenticeship, and we do not add you to a general mailing list without your agreement.
7. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who need it to operate the site and the application process:
- Duda, our website platform, which hosts the site and processes form submissions
- Google, for Analytics and for reCAPTCHA bot protection
- Our email provider, which delivers and stores application notifications
These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes, beyond what their own policies describe for the services they provide.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising.
8. How long we keep it
We keep applications for as long as they are under consideration, and afterwards for as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you. Our waitlist is open year round, so if you ask us to hold your application for a future cohort, we keep it until you tell us otherwise or until you join a cohort.
If you are not accepted and do not ask to be held for a future cohort, we keep your application for up to two years and then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, which we keep at the shortest practical period.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See the next section.
9. Your choices and rights
You can email hello@contrologytherapy.com at any time to:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your application
- Ask us to stop contacting you
- Ask to be removed from the waitlist
We will respond within thirty days. We may need to confirm your identity first, which usually just means replying from the email address you applied with.
Some states give residents additional rights over their personal information. Contrology Therapy is a small business and falls below the size thresholds that make those laws apply to us. We offer the choices above to everyone regardless of where they live.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and this site is encrypted, and we limit access to application submissions to the people who need to read them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as financial account details or medical records through the application form.
11. Children
This site and the apprenticeship are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
12. People outside the United States
Contrology Therapy is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and the apprenticeship is taught in person there. If you apply from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By applying, you understand that this transfer takes place.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be noted here.
